What’s different with VR this time around?

Bio:

Nick Bolton, CEO of Vicon’s parent company Oxford Metrics, initially qualified as a Production Engineer in 1992 from Manchester University and after a series of software engineering roles, joined Oxford Metrics’ subsidiary Vicon in 1995 as employee #13.

In 1999, Nick was instrumental in establishing new Oxford Metrics subsidiary, 2d3, who pioneered Augmented Reality with the Lifeplus project, an AR experience that allowed visitors a glimpse of life as it was originally lived in places such as Pompeii.

In 2005, Nick was appointed as Vicon CEO and as part of this drove the extension of the business into the engineering and VR marketplace. Since then Vicon has been used by some of the world’s largest companies including Dyson, BMW, MIT, General Motors, Boeing, AWE and Airbus. Nick is now Group CEO, with responsibility for Vicon and the two other computer vision subsidiaries.
