Duncan Fitzsimons is an industrial designer and founder of 7TH, a London based design & invention studio.

At 7TH we work on projects that cover any situation where people interact with technology, with the aim of creating new products and new ideas that go beyond the norm of everyday product development.

7TH’s work spans both home-grown invention and design consultancy work, often for some of the worlds best known brands, creating innovative new ideas and designs where they’re needed most.

Duncan has been a judge for both the D&AD and James Dyson Awards, and his design for the world’s first foldable wheelchair wheel has been a finalist in the Saatchi & Saatchi World Changing Ideas Awards, has won Transport Design of the Year at the Design Museum, Icon Magazine Product Design of the Year and also the Institution of Engineering Designers Alex Moulton Award for Innovation.

He has also been shortlisted for Digital Design of the Year at the Design Museum for his work on the QardioArm wireless blood pressure monitor.
