In this talk, we’ll take a whirlwind tour of what’s coming for 3D Printing, looking at the new processes and materials on the horizon, as well as thinking about the infrastructure, skills and supply chains that are going to be needed to realize this.

3D Printing: What’s on the horizon?
Biography: Sophie Jones is General Manager at Added Scientific, a spin-out of the University of Nottingham, helping companies exploit Additive Manufacturing technology through state-of-the-art research. Having previously worked for Econolyst, Stratasys and 3T RPD, Sophie has a deep knowledge of the AM industry and applications of the technology. With an MEng from Loughborough University in Manufacturing Engineering, Sophie combines technical expertise with a grounded understanding of the commercial implications of AM.
