Kevin Couling

Maximising additive manufacturing for research and business

Kevin is a PhD student and Research Assistant within WMG, University of Warwick studying additive manufacturing with a focus on photovoltaics.

Having a mechanical engineering background ranging from Victorian steam engines, thermodynamics, and motorsport; culminating in an interest in additive manufacturing and R&D, he works closely with employers and collaborators to improve and advance projects involved with the WMG.

Since starting his PhD, Kevin has become a part of WMG’s Centre for Imaging, Metrology and Additive Technologies (CiMAT) group, working with industry and academia to overcome manufacturing and product development issues, focussing on Additive Manufacturing.
