Gregory Epps established RoboFold in 2007, with funding from Innovation RCA at the Royal College of Art, and Imperial College London. The company is based in Brixton, South London.
Gregory has taught at over 50 design and computation workshops and lectures internationally. His company is most well known for creating the iconic Arum sculpture for Zaha Hadid Architects. As well as RoboFold, Gregory operates www.curvedfolding.com as a resource for designers using the RoboFold process, he also jointly organises the Shape To Fabrication conference, which presents new architectural projects designed using Rhino3D CAD software.
He is in the process of launching another endeavour called Robots.IO, which takes years of software development for industrial robotics and creates a consultancy to make advanced robotic manufacture something small companies can easily benefit from.
