Concussed at the age of 23 when his Stock Car crashed, Glen has since adopted the less dangerous but equally exhilarating role of CEO of DriveWorks Ltd – the internationally recognized market-leader in Design Automation.
When asked why he co-founded DriveWorks back in 2001 he has been heard to respond “Because I don’t like doing the same thing over and over again”. In truth he could see the commercial benefits that Design Automation could bring to the manufacturing sector.
Over the last 10 plus years he has urged companies to automate repetitive processes so that they can concentrate on Value Add tasks and new technologies that help them grow. Topics close to his heart are Mass Customisation and Mass Personalization. He sees the latter as an exciting and growing topic of conversation in and around the NEW Industrial Revolution.
He is a keen supporter of Huddersfield Town Football Club and was delighted when the Terriers were promoted to the Championship…. Even if the 22 shot penalty shoot-out was a little stressful.
