Mimaki authorised partner, R A Smart is presenting applications created on Mimaki’s full colour 3D printers at Develop3D Live.
Utilising UV-curing inkjet technology, the high-definition colour reproduction made possible with Mimaki’s 3D full colour printers provides new opportunities across a range of industries. Mimaki offers two models: the compact 3DUJ-2207 and industrial specification 3DUJ-553 and both are adept at producing highly detailed output in up to 10 million colours. Examples on display will include product prototypes, medical and anatomical models, architectural designs and gaming figurines – all printed in vibrant and accurately reproduced colour.
The popular Mimaki 3DUJ-2207 3D printer features a compact footprint coupled with a 203 x 203 x 76mm build space, making it ideally suited to office and education environments, and removes barriers to entry with its competitive price point. This innovative 3D printing solution represents a huge step forward for detailing and post-processing, with the unique combination of its full colour capabilities and water-soluble support materials enabling fine detail to be printed in vibrant colour. The highly durable results also remove the substantial breakage risks usually associated with manual cleaning, painting and finishing.
With additional features such as Mimaki’s clear resin, which can be utilised alone or mixed with colours to achieve varying levels of transparency, the new 3DUJ-2207 3D printer presents a robust, advanced 3D printing solution with an affordable price tag.
