Pitch-In (Sheffield University)
Connecting Capabilities for the Internet of Things
The Pitch-In project aims to collaboratively identify and address barriers to the successful development, introduction and further exploitation of Internet of Things (IoT) technologies. The project is looking to improve the way universities work with industry and each other across four critical technical sectors (Cities, Energy, Health and Wellbeing, and Manufacturing) alongside cross-cutting social, business and management issues.
Led by the University of Sheffield in partnership with the universities of Cambridge, Oxford and Newcastle, we will be working with industry management and workforce, academics and university delivery teams over the next two years to identify and break down these barriers to IoT implementation.
Pitch-In would like to hear of any barriers to the adoption of IoT technologies you have identified with regards to your company or organisation, to help us develop collaborative solutions which can then be shared as best-practice case studies.
