The European Powder Metallurgy Association, EPMA, formed in Brussels in 1989, has three key missions – Promoting, Representing and Developing Powder Metallurgy

The EPMA serves all types of corporate members, from component producers, metal powder manufacturers, equipment producers through to end-users, research centres, universities and individuals who have an interest in Powder Metallurgy (PM).

The EPMA covers all aspects of powder metallurgy, including:

  • Additive Manufacturing

  • Core Powder Metallurgy

  • Hard Materials and Diamond Tools

  • Hot Isostatic Pressing

  • New Materials and Applications

  • Powder Injection Moulding

  • PM Structural Parts

For over 25 year the EPMA have been representing all aspects of the PM supply chain through various promotional activities, legislative lobbying and project participation and coordination on a domestic and pan-European level.

The metal powder additive manufacturing sector is represented by the EPMA’s European Additive Manufacturing Group, EAMG, whose activities increase the awareness of the Additive Manufacturing technology sector, with a special focus on metal powder based products and the competitive advantage these components can create.
