Biography:
Chris Cheung is the founder of Mighty Dynamo Inc., a product design studio and business consulting practice based in Toronto, Canada. With more than 20 years of experience driving B2B and B2C products, Chris is a proven creative leader in the technology and creative space. He’s been a successful agent of change at organizations such as Alias, Autodesk, and The Foundry. As a speaker, he has hosted creative conferences worldwide, presented workshops at TED in Long Beach, and had 2 minutes of fame on Apple’s Keynote stage in 2012. His current projects are a deliberate balance of strategic consulting, partnering on bootstrap projects, and in-house development of really shit, but totally awesome, ideas.

Good design is often associated with brand, aesthetics, or functional implementation… classic touch points with an end-user or consumer. Design in general, however, has much boarder impact on a business. There are many different approaches and processes on the matter, but ultimately, it comes down to the ingredients you have to work with and how you choose to use them. This talk explores the broad sense of design and where it might matter most for businesses.
