Dr Florian Bazant-Hegemark

Florian is a chartered patent attorney at Marks & Clerk (Patent & Trade Mark Attorneys) since 2010 and represents clients before the UK Intellectual Property Office and the European Patent Office.  He is also a member of Marks & Clerk’s design practice committee.  In addition to patents, he routinely handles design matters, both in the UK and EU-wide before the EU Intellectual Property Office in Alicante.  Furthermore, he is familiar with rapidly evolving case law, and how this affects the strategic value of both patents and designs in additive manufacturing and 3D printing, and how protection strategies may have to be adapted in the age of distributed manufacturing.
